Louisiana Citizenship Attorney
Let Our Firm Help You Become a United States Citizen
The main goal for many lawful permanent residents (LRPs)—also known as green card holders—is to become a United States citizen. There are many benefits to becoming a naturalized citizen, including traveling without worry and voting in U.S. elections. However, the naturalization process can be quite complex and any mistakes on your applications to the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) can either set your back or ruin your chances of becoming a U.S. citizen. That is why having an experienced immigration attorney help you prepare your documents and file your applications can ensure you fulfill your dream.
At The Scott Law Firm, LLC, helping immigrants become American citizens is one of the most rewarding experiences for our legal team. We understand how complex U.S. immigration laws can be and the pitfalls of the legal process. Our Louisiana citizenship lawyers have the knowledge and resources to help you overcome these obstacles in order to become a U.S. citizen.

Once Form N-400 is filed, you must complete biometrics (i.e. photograph and fingerprints for background checks). Next, your interview will be scheduled to confirm all the details in your application and take a civics exam. When you pass your interview, you will be scheduled for your Naturalization Ceremony, where you will take the oath of citizenship to become a U.S. citizen.
