Stephanie Buehler is the Scott Law Firm's Lake Charles immigration attorney. Born in Ohio, Stephanie was raised between Ohio, Pennsylvania, and Arkansas. After receiving her Bachelor of Arts degree from Western Washington University, she attended the Paul M. Hebert Law School at LSU, where she received both her Juris Doctor and Graduate Diploma in Comparative Law. During her time at LSU, Stephanie interned at the Office of the Louisiana Attorney General, the 19th JDC Public Defender's Office, the Sexual Trauma Awareness and Response Center, and the LSU Law Immigration Clinic, where she pursued her passion for working with victims of violence in the legal realm.
In February of 2018, Stephanie moved to Lake Charles where she worked for the city's leading immigration law firm, specializing in H-2A and H-2B visas, employment-based immigration, and family-based immigration. After working for a large national immigration law firm, Stephanie joined the Scott Law Firm to continue assisting communities facing the ever-growing challenges of the U.S. immigration system.
In her spare time, Stephanie enjoys spending time with her dogs and volunteering with animal rescues.
