Maria graduated with honors from Dalhousie University in Nova Scotia, Canada, with a dual degree in Environment, Sustainability & Society, and International Development Studies. She is currently pursuing her paralegal certificate from Louisiana State University. Maria's ultimate career goal is to work in the legal field to leave a positive impact on the world. She was born in Colombia, raised in California, and has lived in Canada, Brazil, and Mexico before arriving in Baton Rouge. She fluently speaks English, Spanish, and basic Portuguese, and is passionate about being able to use her linguistic skills to assist clients from different countries with their legal concerns. In her free time, you can find her doing all manners of outdoor activities with her two dogs or exploring new and exciting places.
